| This is a hand made necklace from Thailand. There are 4 strands of authentic peach and cream colored freshwater pearls,varying in length so each one is layered above the other. The pearls are not uniform and identical in shape,because of their freshwater origin, but they are are matched up as close as possible.There is a flower,hand cut from a Mother of Pearl Shell,to form the shape of 5 petals.There are 7 more pearls in the center. The shell flower is held to the necklace with silver wire. The caps and back closure are .925 Sterling Silver.The necklace is 17" in length. The flower will be positioned on the right side,high up on the necklace,with the bottom half of the flower resting on your collar bone. To align the strands - before wearing,hold up the necklace by the end closest to the flower,allowing the necklace to hang straight down. Align the strands so they are separate from one another & now the necklace is ready to wear. It takes longer to read those last two sentences than it does to put the necklace on! This is a very versatile item. You can pair it with your T-shirt,jeans & blazer or wear it with your fanciest dress. Either way,it looks beautiful!! |
