| This is a piece of real glass jewelry,created by an artist in New Hampshire.. The edges have been rounded smooth. A photo of a little pink pig with wings,flying next to the words " When Pigs Fly", has been digitally designed and glued to the back of the glass tile. It is printed on high quality photo paper using archival inks so there is no bleeding or fading of colors.It is then sealed with a Resin sealer to give it a glossy and hard finish.It is water resistant,so it can get rained on,but it is not water proof,so don't go into the shower or go swimming with it on.It hangs from an aanraku silver plated bale,which is made specifically for use with glass art,making this a high quality,well made piece of jewelry.The necklace is 18" black leather with a 2" extension. The glass tile is seven eights" X seven eights". It is labor and time intensive to create an item so beautiful in it's simplicity. |
